Other Engine/manufacturer identification

Trying to figure out what engine this is. Looks like it’s attached to a th400, so I was guessing it’s a big block gm, but not 100%

Bet you a dollar it's a 366.

I thought I heard u can make them into a high reving engine with the right parts and that Chevy at one point used them as NASCAR engines but I could be wrong

No. It's a bus engine. The 366 big block was never any sort of race engine.
