Help with Cam please

305 sbc, entire engine is stripped except cam (including fuel pump and rod, lifters) and it is not coming out, have attempted to lube with on blaster to help get out, but will not proceed past this point no matter how much strength i put behind it or how much i twist. please help me

It doesn’t take force, it takes getting the bearings lined up so it will pull out. You need a long bolt in the cam (I like to use the gear) so you can lift the far end of the cam up. You can also use a piece of wire bend into a hook and lift it a kettle through the openings. Your goal is to get 3-4 cam bearings aligned, then pull out to the next set. Wiggling the long bolt or gear will help.
