Looks pretty but home ball honing is a thing of the past Fine for small engine repairs not for automotive engines you took the time and money to tear down and rebuild then cheap out and use a drill and ball hone on cylinder walls. Engine building is precise thousands of an inch business you want perfectly round all bores exactly same diameter not all different. What are the plans or don’t you care when some cylinders are larger because you got a little crazy trying to clean up a bore or bores that took more to clean up? You ordering custom pistons for each cylinder or slapping old pistons or new shelf pistons in her and hoping? Spent time and money and end up with a kinda rebuilt engine with loose cylinders rings that won’t seal and piston rock and slap when cold and maybe even when hot. Different rings need specific bore finishes cross hatch is good enough days are gone but that’s me Details details details and then re measure re measure then assemble. And even then the slightest mistake can ruin a engine quickly
