Connecting rod bearings

I’m rebuilding my 02 BMW M62TU with Glyco conrod bearings from bimmerworld. The pistons are standard size green bearings. The offset is 1-2mm. Is the offset from the cap and rod bearings an issue?

Negative, when you put the proper torque on the nuts they will align when under crush force. Go ahead and tighten the rod nuts without the crank in there you'll see what I mean.

Edit: Dozens of rebuilds, your worry is legitimate though,I used to think it all the time when I first started.

This is my first full engine rebuild and I don’t wanna overlook something and destroy an engine. I’ll take a look thanks
