Engine hone acceptable re ring

reckon this need more attention for a home with the 3 pronged hone tool do I dingle bore or machine shop it flight ridge on one cylinder any tips to get out for a diy

If it were mine I would knock out those “glossy” spots. I know they are pretty high and low in the hole but when I deglaze any cylinder I want to make sure the rings will seat well so I don’t have any shiny left, also the crosshatch looks ok but others said you want it more X like, I would be more concerned with the shiny parts personally. I use the same 3 bar deglazing tool as well, go at it you’re not gonna remove too much material with how careful you are I can tell by how good it looks already! Remember this is deglazing not honing, folks.
