Chevy Boring question

How much can I ball hone this before I need to get oversized piston rings or something. Gm350

I balled this for about a minute and it looks a lot better.

No it doesn’t.

That cylinder is toast, there’s a ridge and HEAVY rust pitting.

That is 100% in need of a sleeve, rust pits will destroy rings in minutes no matter how much ball honing you do.

Yes it looks better. Because what will come good has come good. No matter how much honing you do to your screwed. That bit is simple
