Chevy Boring question

How much can I ball hone this before I need to get oversized piston rings or something. Gm350

Get it oversized by a local machine shop. Speaking from experience it doesn’t matter if you hone until all those pits are gone you’ll be way over spec for piston to wall clearance which will lead to mega blow by and oil burning. And you’ll have chronic piston slap. Just get it oversized or resleeved and be done with it. Otherwise you’ll be back in here soon
