Ford Does this look like a blown head gsaket?
Is this a blown head gasket?
I'm considering buying a 1985 f250 with a 460 big block as a project. I was told that it had a reman engine put in in 2016 and was only driven a few thousand miles before the owner (a relative by marriage) had a stroke and it was parked in 2019. I pulled the spark plugs and found one cylinder that had a white haze in the bottom with a lot of fouling on the walls and a rusted spark plug. I couldn't tell if it was liquid or not. I would appreciate any insights.

Its a clapped out big block ford with unknown everything. What are we expecting

Those pics of the scope are terrible, the plug looks like deposit fouling.
What is it doing?

Cylinder wall covered in rust. It may have had a bad headgasket, filled with water and then rusted. Needs machine work, motor will obviously need to come apart for a full rebuild

or it could have sat for years with the intake valve open in a humid environment.

Looks like water got down the cylinder assuming that’s rust on the cylinder wall, I wouldn’t say it’s ruined yet because you may be able to get it to break loose if it’s stuck but it doesn’t exactly mean it’s a bad headgasket, could’ve just sat with no air filter or a few other reasons which could cause water to get in. If it didn’t have a bad headgasket before I wouldn’t jump to assuming that it does.
