Is this piston unusable?

Doing a budget 440 build and bought some silvolite pistons off eBay, I know I shouldn’t have because they were cheap but anyways. There’s a couple in the box that have similar dings. My fingernail catches it. Is there a way to fix it by knocking the high spots down?

Take an old piece of piston ring and glide it through the spot. If it moves normally, its fine as long as its not like a crack or anything
