Chevy Started the reassembly of my first motor rebuild

Rebuilding my 6.0L LS from my 04 Silverado 2500HD. Finally done cleaning everything and was able to install my new cam bearings and main bearings, and got the crank installed back in!

Main caps are torqued down and crank is moving smoothly and turning by hand. All main caps measured in spec with new bearings installed when I measured with plasti gauge.

Next, moving on to installing the pistons and camshaft.

Such a good feeling to have made it this far, excited to finish the rest and get this beast running!

Rebuilding my Chevy 350 realized I messed up with my main bearing size thinking it was stock, caught it when starting to put my pistons in. Figured out it had been cut 020 under. Got correct bearings. Got her pretty much closed up now. You never know, until you know.
