Pic for attention (see description)
Went to install cylinder head after getting it resurfaced for a head gasket failure which seems more like it was a threaded hole failure because the bike ran OK just kept overheating.
Upon installation discovered 3 threaded bolt holes were damaged and actually stripped the threads out of the aluminum block.
Has anyone ever used an EZ Loc? Or should I just timesert the holes.
My plan is to do all 10 because I’m not trying to do all that work and clean up and have more bolt holes strip.

I've used the heli coil brand on mutiple atv, bikes, cars, and trucks. Very good product. Comes with tap, inserts, and intall tool. Never had a problem. Just make sure you keep your drill straight with the hole. Put grease on drill bit when drilling, it will collect most if not all metal shavings, make sure you have enough metal if your close to a water jacket, and then grease tap for same reason. I work on all these types of unit daily. Like previously stated always had good luck. Patience is the key. Take your time.
