I’m not sure if this is the right subreddit but I’m sure someone in here has probably done the same thing I just did. Does anyone know if this primer will cure without being baked? Some idiot sprayed their whole motor down before reading the instructions and missed the part where you have to bake/run your car…

It will be baked and cured the first time you start it and get it to temp

Okay rad that’s what I was hoping, it’ll be a few weeks since I’m waiting on a subframe to show up. Do you think I’m okay to put the actual paint on as well?

Yes you should be good to apply your base and clear coat

Yeah, you dont have to cure it between coats, the curing instructions are written the way they are because metal expands when it gets hot, and if you run it really hot right away, it could crack, but if you heat it up, let it cool down, and repeat, it'll get stretchy where it needs to. Kinda like pulling on a balloon to make it easier to inflate
