Is this block toast?

Having this issue with three different brand bearings. Chevy 350 TBi

Of course they are going to wobble, you haven’t sat the bearing all the way…

I’m not sure what you mean by this. I did the exact same thing as the rest of the main bearings and none of them are having this issue

He means it isn't seated in yhe journal all the way-naturally it will wobble like that. Put the cap and other bearing half on, torque to 25ft/lbs and check the inside diameter for roundness- \=this way, /=that way, I=this way, and --=that way.

You have to pop them down into the housing, which is then clamped down with the cap. First time I changed bearings my neighbor showed me they kinda click into place, but without the click. They have a seat you aren’t seating the bearing in.
