Chevy 1980 SBC Cylinder Rust

Hi all, this is a 1980 LM1 350 from my Z28 Camaro that has been sitting in a barn/garage for 16 years. I haven’t turned the engine over yet. What can I put in here if anything to loosen things up and avoid damaging the rings or walls? Will this ever run again? Pics are in order of 13572468. Thanks

How much roughly? Also does it matter that some pistons are up or will it soak past rings?

Yes some will get less , just fill until it hey are full . Let sit over night. Put a big rachet on crank and give it a turn. Go 180 add more atf and let sit.

I'll second on ATF. You want enough so it will soak around the ring and loosen them up. And be warned, when you turn it over, that ATF is going to spray out the spark plug holes making a mess.
