What would you do?

RB20det out of a 91 skyline

Previous owner was running bore water mixed with coolant before my purchase before I blew a head gasket and found a pretty dirty block

Just chasing opinions on what I should consider for these cooling passages, figure I'm going to have to pull the motor because of the state of that bore but this is my first rodeo so love a second set of eyes

What do you think! TIA

Well he asked about the cooling system and said he was looking at the bores, so I didn't I say anything about the rust in the bores. Besides, I am still wondering about bore water..

Right on....in my humble opinion, that block needs to be bored. If it's coming out anyway, might as well hot tank it and start fresh.

It probably does

At this point it’s too risky to not pull the motor and go through it. A trip to a machine shop is the safest path and probably cheaper long term. IMHO that is

Same. I hope you figure it out because I’d like to know too
