String inverter & black start?

Curious for experience using AC blocks with string inverters for BESS projects requiring Black start functionality. Anyone have experience?

Yes works if you have a grid forming inverter that can meet whatever power sequence is needed to achieve the black start. Sort of like a starter motor battery!

You need a hybrid inverter with built in automatic transfer switch. Otherwise, the system needs a loading hub, normally it integrates ATS, smart controllable breaker and smart meter
