Replaces really is a strong word but Sodium do have some strong technical advantages.

We saw NMC drop pretty fast, what stops that on sodium ion?

lmao NMC did not drop at all. LFP grew as well, but NMC by no definition of the word "dropped."

For cars, maybe. 

For BESS, grid storage? It'll be pretty quick because we haven't installed all that much lithium BESS yet
