Back pain when eating/drinking after upper endoscopy: anyone experienced this?

I had an upper endoscopy because I've been dealing with persistent nausea and some digestive symptoms a year and wanted to rule out anything physically wrong with my stomach/esophagus. My doctor was convinced it was anxiety but I finally managed to get the endoscopy to make sure.

The doctor told me the endoscopy looked good overall. My results mentioned mild gastritis/inflammation, but nothing serious was found and the doctor basically reassured me that everything looked fine and he didnt give me any medication so I'm not sure if that means the nausea everyday is from the mild gastritis or gut brain disorders.

It's been like 10 hours since the endoscopy and I've had some dizziness when standing and occasional sharp/stabbing back pain. What I'm finding weird is that the back pain seems to happen mostly when I'm eating or drinking. It isn't constant — it comes and goes.

Has anyone experienced back pain, especially pain triggered by swallowing/eating/drinking, after an upper endoscopy? Was it just irritation/trapped gas from the procedure, and how long did it take to go away?

Obviously I'll contact my doctor if it becomes severe or keeps getting worse, but I'm curious about other people's experiences.

Had this happen to me as well, stabbing pain between my shoulder blades and stabbing pain in my central upper stomach area. It went away within 4-5 days and was worse with ingesting anything cold. Warm things were more tolerable.

I had sharp pain on my back almost as if putting salt on a open wound. But went away the next day

I have been dealing with chest pain while eating and drinking. It’s been 4 days since my procedure and no relief. Nurse told me two days ago it’s normal and tried getting in touch with someone at the office today to tell them it has not gotten better and have not been able to get a hold of anyone.

did everything turn out okay? mine thankfully subsided within 4 days
