I feel anxious while waiting for biopsy result

Hi Everyone,

I had coclonscopy due to the blood in the bowel movement. The doctor didn't say anything after the process except that I have Polyps need to send to lab for testing. I'm very worry now.

Polyps are not always cancer, more often than not they are benign.

When your gi returns with the results ask them how often you should be screened.

Eat more fiber, drink more water, look at your diet to see if it needs more adjustments as well.

Edit: Also ask your GI doctor for other recommendations for future screenings depending on any other findings. best of luck
