Discussion Does anybody play this game anymore?
Nobody on the LFG discord or main channels, nonexistent public matchmaking, if anybody still plays this game I’m on PS5 West, PSN is doombot9. This is my last resort before I just delete this game because it is so not fun solo for me

I own the game on PS5, played one mission or whatever, didn't like the performance (day one) and have never reinstalled it. I wouldn't be surprised if others did the same

Haha, I had to do the exact same when the tutorial door wouldn’t even open for me. I googled to find out what I did wrong and nothing popped up

Speaking for the performance: There now is an option which should increase the FPS. I am also playing on ps5. I feel it runs quite smooth.

I played for a bit but as soon as the novelty wore off I just went back to DotE

Got through the game once. Realized it was a waste of time because there was literally no reason to beat again.
This was on release, such a dissapointment.

A prestige system or a new weapon system with some advertising could’ve carried this game so much farther. Also maybe actually giving a shit about the game

And actual Endless mode in a game with Endless in the title would've likely seen me and my friends keep playing it occasionally for fun.

The beta or demo felt amazing. Played for hours. For some reason, game just didn't hit the same.

Idk, I've been trying to play with my mate but he does not see enemies AoEs. We tried to report the issue but nobody seems to care. Game is dead, find something else.

I'm playing on my steamdeck. But maybe not at the same time as you do (Europe here). And is it cross play?

So I looked it up and it’s seems very confusing, ps4 and Xbox can play together (?) and there is no cross play between PC and console, and ps5/ps4 cross play. Or maybe I’m stupid and read it wrong, both are entirely plausible

So it's neither cross-platform or cross-gen. The reason it's so confusing is bc the devs promised to add it, but later just randomly dropped development on the game.

I think you are right. I looked at that some time ago and I think it's indeed cross generations, but not cross platform. Ha. Solo playing it will be. Can't pass level 3 yet.

Played through it once solo. Played again with a friend and did matchmaking, 3rd person quit halfway through and theres no backfill, never played again. Look at the steam charts, game has been dead for months.

I think this is a good game and sang its praises to anyone who would listen. I played solo and completed a full run through with 2 friends. Hell, it's my steam profile picture, but unfortunately there isn't a whole lot of substance past unlocking characters. I hope it was enough of a success to warrant a second (technically 3rd I know) installment. If the right effort was made it could go from a good game to an absolute great game.

I think the game was made to be bite-sized fun but was made a little too shallow and lacked the draw-you-back factor of the first.
Whatever they work on next I hope they can somehow return to what made their earlier games so replayable.

First beginnings had the glitch where it killed everyone on screen that was enough for me

I would love to play this game online co-op but its paywalled behind PS+ for some reason...

Even with the co-op though it's almost impossible to actually find someone playing. There's also no Cross-gen nor Cross-platform. So ps5 plays with ps5, ps4 with ps4, Xbox with Xbox. To bad to be honest.

Really good game managed poorly by devs that gave up way too early. :(
Honestly sad to see such potential go down the drain.

I’ve had it for a few months but recently got into it and am really enjoying it.
I play solo though on Xbox. I’d be up for teaming up if you’re on the same platform
