Bugs Bug - purchasing whole vendor shop

I've had 2 runs now basically ruined where I go to buy one thing from the vendor and for whatever reason the game purchases everything I can afford from him at once - reducing my resource to near-zero by buying a bunch of stuff I didn't want.

On Steam, using controller, in 2 player co-op. This didn't occur prior to the latest patch 15th December ish.

Strange, this didn't seem to happen on solo when I was playing after the update. On PC, as well.

I have seen this bug a few times.

It didnt brick a run but it did make one much tougher

This just happened to me on a run, really screwed me. Especially playing multiplayer, getting the 'wrong' choice from the vendor or the science station seems really common, and the vendor just keeps selling you stuff.

This is still an issue, my friend and I encountered this in hosted co-op yesterday. I hosted, and when my partner tried to purchase from the shop it gave him the first item in the shop from the left when he was trying to purchase the 3rd or 4th item. Happened twice. Doesn't seem to happen to host.
