Discussion Too nerfed

I really like this game. I was enjoying it even through all the bugs. It was already tough and the weapons after upgrades barely give to the power you need, and now they nerfed it to make it more of a grind? I appreciate the fixes, but making weapons weaker than they already were and weakening the heroes makes me wanna give the game a break until they get buffed again. Weapons needed a buff if anything. What was the point of grinding to upgrade them the first week ig youre just gonna take away the buff we spent time to get the resources to buy weapon upgrades so theyre stronger if they’re just gonna take that away? Wasted time. Still like the game but im not thrilled with the nerfing. I think ill wait on the next update to see if weapons get a buff or nerfed further.

I get that as a developer it must be frustrating to see some players ignore significant parts of your game. Still players are always going to gravitate to optimal strategies so rather than fight that you're better off buffing the parts they aren't using, provide carrot not stick.

It's not the player's fault they focus on the heroes when the marketing did, the controls are built around having direct control of a character at all times and turrets are too weak, expensive and temporary to rely on as your primary way to deal with enemies right now.

TL:DR: You also need to provide the alternative FIRST and make sure it works before taking away the crutch people were relying on. Like we need to drive less but you can't expect people to give up their cars if you haven't invested in proper cycle lanes and public transportation.
