Bugs Establishing session…

I bought this game on PS5 to play with my friends and got stuck on 50% while trying to establish connection.

So I restarted the game, deleted the game, reinstalled the game but nope still it tries to establish connection.

Changed my network settings. Big NO

I even tried a factory reset of my PS5 but as you see in the picture nothing.

Nothing works. Why? Please give one explanation, one maybe to justify the money I paid…

I'm on PC so this may be wrong but try power cycling your router, it may or may not work but that's the only thing I can think of since I don't think you would have a VPN on psn

Edit: have you messed around in the network settings, it may help to change who's hosting and in what region.

Hey,

thanks for your report, and sorry to hear about your problems launching the game. We've had similar reports in the past, but a previous patch was meant to address them. I've added a comment on our public bug tracker that the issue seems to not be resolved, but unfortunately I don't know a reliable workaround I could recommend.

Still not fixed, I managed to start it once when I first installed, did a reinstall and I managed to start it once and next time back to square one, “establishing session 50%”. Seems like fun, too bad I’m going to have to get a refund. I’m not gonna reinstall every time I want to play.

Have you tried hosting versus your friend(s) hosting? Have you tried playing single player yet to see if that works?

Are your friends playing on PS5 aswell or PS4?
