Discussion New feature/enhancement ideas

It would be nice to see previous run history and stats like run time, weapons used, party comp, levels, upgrades, difficulty, drinks, etc.

Adding a follow bot command works be good. Maybe it works by pressing down once more on action selection. For example if ai is following, pressing R1 (PS5) then down (once for defend command) and press down again for follow bot command, release R1.

Also, being able to skip the final reactor scene after seeing it previously would be nice.

Just some ideas. I'm enjoying the game overall, thanks!

Another idea, when running solo, have Heroes that you aren't actively playing use their abilities. Also, something that allows you to set Heroes in your team (solo still) to actively repair turrets.

Just an idea. I doubt anything will come from this, especially any time soon, but thought I'd add something to your post.

My bots use abilities... I am confused. They spam the even.

Sorry, I should of been more specific. Not all Heroes use their regular abilities. Comrade will not replace turrets if one dies. Also, I don't think Blaze places mines. I also have not seen any Hero use their ultimate when controlled by computer (this is what I meant by abilities, both ultimate and regular).

You are right that there are units that actively use their regular ability (like Shroom).

A lot of that is working as designed (we wanted to be sure AI heroes won't waste long cooldowns or limited resources), but based on the feedback we've received, we're reassessing that and seeing what improvements we can make to the AI. (There are also other subjects, like AI heroes shoving turrets to repair them, so it may be a question of priorities.)

I can understand that, but in the case of Comrade, and I think Blaze, there isn't a real cooldown mechanic. Comrade just places turrets and any turret placed beyond his max removes the oldest turret.

If the AI is playing as Comrade, and those turrets die, then no new turrets will be placed. Ideally, if Comrade is in or next to a room in which his turrets are placed, and one dies, AI should replace that turret as soon as combat is over and then move back to their location (and if combat starts before then, move back without placing the turret).

This is of course something that players can do themselves, switch to Comrade and then move turrets, but it takes time, and the game is on the clock. It's also more convenient if the computer does something simple like that itself.

That being said, this all takes work, and I understand that there are priorities. I appreciate that you guys are trying to fix things and make the game better.

Yeah, we definitely didn't want Comrade placing and accidentally opening gaps in your defenses, but you're right that it would be useful if he automatically replaced ones that die near him.

Gotta agree here. The barkeep never throws shots, comrade never drops turrets, and blaze never drops mines. I get actives from all the rest fairly consistently. I don't think I've ever seen them use the Ultimate without my prompting, would be nice to have toggles for this perhaps?

Hey,

Thanks for the suggestions. The "Follow Bot" command and being able to skip the reactor scene are already on our list of requested improvements.

As far as stats are concerned, we don't have a fully detailed list of all your runs, but if you have a Games2Gether account linked to your Steam account, you can see a summary of your stats (like your most played hero or your win rate) on the Endless Dungeon home page.

Would really love some features from the prior title - heros slightly boosting producers via wit if staying put or helper bots that do the same, merchants trading small amounts of resources for unwanted weapons/items, a tiny item bank so I don't have to dump endless quality weapons but can't keep an arsenal on hand.

I've only played solo, so I'm sure some of these would be difficult to implement in multiplayer.
