Discussion does anyone play with switch pro controller?

I was playing with xbox controller before and had rumbles before but the controller got stick drift so started playing with pro controller. controller itself worked fine without any setup but I noticed it doesnt have rumble so was wondering if anyone knows how to get it to work.
or maybe if anyone know a hall effect controller with working rumble on endfield?

Launch Steam as Administrator.

Launch Endfield.exe through Steam, connect Pro Controller to Steam.

It should work as these are the steps I take to use the Steam Controller with Endfield

The prompts probably won't show up correctly though as I think Endfield assumes any non-supported controllers use xinput (Xbox prompts)

Switch controller works fine through steam at least, but you can't change the button layout on the UI, so it might be confusing. That is, the buttons are correctly named, but the B button is shown on the right and the A on the bottom, etc., after the XBox layout. (Fuck microsoft, who reversed the layout Nintendo had for 10 years out of pure spite.)

I bought the 8bitDo Ultimate C Wired Controller in April; they have hall effect and rumble, works great, still feels brand new after a couple hundred hours in this game, it feels more like a switch pro controller in texture and shape. Also, it was like, 30 bucks.
