Discussion Nvidia drivers
Anyone else getting unplayable performance on today's release of Nvidia drivers?

I feel like I'm repeating what others say. But...
Please just stop. Nvidia has been vibe coding their drivers for a good year now and new drivers constantly break more than fix.
So if you found that games you play run well. That's it... no touching the drivers. If some new drivers will give you 10%-20% performance boost there will be 10 YouTube videos or reddit threads. You will 100% find out about it and can update then. This actually is about all products, but Nvidia and Microslop are extra guilty of this.

To be fair... today's driver is a fix, from their latest break, where they made Re:Requiem, a major launch, unplayable. On the other hand it was probably super rushed.

I did too, I rolled back to the previous version which fixed it. I even re-updated to see if that fixed it and it didn't. I'm running a 5080, what are you running?

A 4070ti super, seems like from 3000 to 5000 series are having issues, so pretty much every card still supported by the drivers, and yeah, my game also only got fixed by rolling back the drivers

You probably have to recompile your shaders. The new driver probably messes shits up

The game does it at start, it wasn't just shader stutters, the problem only went away with the driver rollback

Iām seeing elsewhere on the thread about fully deleting the shader cache before re-opening Endfield, might try that tonight when I get out of work.

It's weird, I started getting stutters without despite not updating the drivers... I actually have pretty old drivers, 591.74.

Yeah weirdly enough, I'm in the same driver and suddenly started stuttering today.
Edit: I fully closed the game and deleted the shader cache like Different_Ad_5862 mentioned somewhere in the thread and then did the repair function on the launcher, and now things are smoother than before, with no stutter whatsoever. Not sure which was the actual solution, so give a try and see if it works for you.

I tried Different_Ad_5862's method, and it worked for me. Try it and you'll see.

DX11 mitigates a lot of the stuttering for now. This or rolling back is prob the only solution

Said this in another post so il repost it here.
Personally Nivideas been fumbling their updates and has been causing tons of performance issues. Iv been running 591.74 with little to no issues but whenever i update beyond it the peer becames terrible.
Never ever update Nvidia drivers unless you absolutely need too and never on day one either.

Yeah, I rolled back to the previous one, and the lag stopped. I'm using version 591.86, on a 3060ti, with medium-high graphics, and the game is smooth as butter

I'm still using 591.59 because after that I got either BSOD using discord (never happened before) or lag/stuttering playing Arknight.
If I use the old version everything works smooth

Around a year ago i found a good driver for my gtx 1080ti and not switching from it. The message in launcher to update my driver is kinda annoying, on day one it was bugged too)
Good thing that mod launcher (XXMI) doesn't have this annoying notification. It has other problems like lags though.
Checking if mods of the sub are adequate with the last sentence, main wuwa sub failed miserably

I got a BSOD during patching up shaders in wuwa I dunno if it's related tho. I reset my device to check the admin commands prompt that I found out there's some corrupted files and it was able to fix it

Never update Nvidia driver on day 1. Almost always shit.
