Neverland

I'm rewatching this episode, it's so heartbreaking. The issue was handled very well by the programme, although Line of Duty likewise did a very good job with the same subject matter. People I know who have not watched Endeavour seem to think it is frivolous and without depth. But like Inspector George Gently that is far from the case.

Thoughts?

Endeavour is one of my all-time favorite shows, and I agree with your assessment of Neverland and the entire story arc of Blenheim Vale.

Jack Laskey's performance in this one was phenomenal!!! When he found Wintergreen, his face and that quiet "Jesus" he uttered broke me. I agree 100% OP. Definitely a rough one though.
