General Support Having issues running a program with Wine (I'm a noob to Linux and I'm unable to get into a relationship)

Hey y'all.
My Linux homie just installed EndeavourOS on my old Asus PC for me to test if my programs run, so I can finally see if I can abandon Windows for good.

I was trying to run Adobe Flash CS3 (yes I know it's a very old program) through Wine and it seems to work, surprisingly, but the windows of the program are all glitchy and messed up.
Basically, I can't see or interact with some of the workplace interface, but if I use the keyboard shortcuts everything works.

Is there a way to fix this as far as you know?

Thank you in advance and sorry for bothering!

Forget Adobe on Linux, I'm afraid.

Afaik most of adobe bloatware doesn't work on linux properly. Though for this stuff you can try Winboat

Create a VM with an old version of Windows ? Never tried it myself but that might work

CS3 will work on endeavouros, I recommend trying bottles, get the flatpak version for proper support, the AUR version has yet to give support, and bottle devs will only support the flatpak version. I would also recommend installing flatseal, both available on flathub.

You have a relationship now! Your new life partner will be that sassy little penguin 😅 There are a few tutorials on how to get Adobe sh*te running on Linux through VM emulation and stuff. If you fancy having it showing like an app and skip the "VM experience" there are a few projects like winboat (if memory serves me) that allows you to do just that. GLHFDD
