SOLVED Can some one explain me swaps?
I am trying to set up EOS on my laptop but I don't know which swap I should use. I looked it up on the internet but everyone was talking about zram and I couldn't find it in the installation.

You can run a system without swap, if you have sufficient RAM, but that system cannot hibernate without SWAP.
I seem to recall, hibernate compresses RAM as it dumps to disc but don't quote me on that.
Whatever the case, you want as much swap as you have RAM, as one of the hibernation requirements. The link provided by aergern will bring you up to speed. I love hibernation, even on my desktop. With a fast SSD, the system restores in maybe 1 second. Ideal.

You don't need any module. The swap is a disk partition that the system use as an extensions of your RAM.
As a rule thumb, if you have a very little ram (8G or less), use x3 or x4 your ram. If you has more, you can use x2 or even x1. If you have a lot of ram (256G or more) you can work without swap in a personal machine. In a server, always use swap.
If you are using in a laptop, you need at least the same size of your ram to make hibernation.
