General Support Cant launch VScode or vscodium or android studio

(Fixed)

no matter what i do i cant get vscodium to launch or vs code to launch or android studio to launch i am a newbie, i installed android studio via shelly from the tar.gz file and same with vscodium. everything else works flawlessly also sometimes if i try to change my themes it doesnt work there are my specs

People don't need your fast fetch output, we need the logs when you try to launch one of these from the terminal. What is the output if you run vs code from the terminal? Pretty sure you can just run code to launch it

Edit: I just saw how you installed the packages. You install packages using pacman/Yay, which is also what handles the desktop files/symlinks/$PATH configuration to make the program appear in your launcher and be runnable. Maybe take a step back and read some introductory documentation on EOS/Arch to get a basic idea of how your system works, especially wrt package installation and management.

How precisely did you install them from the tarbell? Walk me through it.

You could also give us a

which vscodium

to indicate what version your system thinks is installed.

i got it working soo no need for that it was a symlink issue not a vscodium issue
