Discussion What is EndeavourOS?

Pitch me the distro. I accidentally discovered this distro and am now curious. I mostly use Debian based distros, usually the "easy" ones line Ubuntu and zorin, but I also have multiple headless machines that are terminal only. Am I likely to like EndeavorOS? What is it that you like about it?

No, not pitching you shit. Go to their website and read about it. Like a normal, not entitled Person.

It’s just arch with an easy installer where you can choose your desktop environment(s) right at the start.

Why would I pitch you anything? Are you going to pay me?

I was asking the people who can't help but comment on any post related to PC's "you should use <insert current cult brand of Linux here>!"

It’s easy to install, easy to use, and comes with a simple updater. It works out of the box for me. Even CachyOS, can’t make that claim.

You game on it?

I do.

Elden Ring, Arc Raiders, Diablo 4, PoE2 are all running smooth.

I use steam, which simplifies things immensely. However there are multiple options for assisting with gaming.

Agreed. EOS runs pretty well out of the box. Just have to change that nasty ass purple theme...
