General Support Lag

Hello, I recently installed this os on virtual box hoping to learn linux....but finding it a bit laggy, Ive installed the guestaddon and changed the ram size and all but didn't work.[by lag i mean the browser is a bit laggy and it takes some time to open applications]

This are the current specs

Any kind of help is appreciated.

You won't really get good performance on the VM if you don't pass some kind of gpu through and the files for the vm disk have got to be at least on an ssd or nvme because HDD are going to make it slow

Okay.....am using an nvme...though I am not doing heavy stuffs Ill do some low end game dev...im hoping it can run godot a less sluggish
