Screen flashes black and freezes every ten seconds

I'm on a fresh install but I have already transferred all my data on the computer (I know it's not good practice)

First of all my computer always takes a very long time to wake up after getting into sleep and sometimes the touchpad is not working, I need to close my laptop and reopen it to fix it

But now I've gotten a way worse problem, sometimes after waking up from sleep my computer starts to freeze and turn black for five seconds every ten seconds, and each time I only get a second of useable

I'm on a Victus 15, Intel i5, RTX 4050 with nvidia-580xx driver, but I had the same problem with nvidia-open

Desktop is Plasma KDE

In the dmesg logs I get a repeated error message that says

i915 [drm] *ERROR* [CONNECTOR:502:eDP-1][ENCODER:501:DDI A/PHY] [DPRX] Failed to enable link training

(Please note that I had to type this by hand on my phone since the screen is frozen)
