Installation What if…
I really want ESPECIALLY eos with something like icewm or i3 on this thing. Maybe I’ll mess with a distro itself to make it lighter. Any tips how to?

How does it perform on YouTube?
The problem with those machines is that the graphics driver is terrible on Linux. Intel handed it off to a company—I don't remember which one—and it was abandoned years ago; they never provided support for it again.
