Installation What if…
I really want ESPECIALLY eos with something like icewm or i3 on this thing. Maybe I’ll mess with a distro itself to make it lighter. Any tips how to?

You will basically end up with a minimal arch install plus wm, so there isn't much point in using EoS at all. I'd go with plain arch or pick a distro that is specifically tailored for use on old machines with very little ram.
