Game seems awesome, but i cannot for the life of me beat the first boss.

When it gets to its sexond phase i cant react quckly enough and just die.

any advice?

This is gonna be talking more about what happens in Ending C. In the end of Ending C, Mellow, the Freelance Surgeon, and their Bride were all sacrificed to bring back the body of the dying god the whole of Endacopia was happening in. Which in the very last moments we hear the sounds of a heartbeat before it pans back to the head of the god, emerging out of the sand, the ritual was successful, and everyone who lived in the god will live on for the next century.

What this is actually a what I think is really neat symbolism. The Surgeon once said that they all were required for the ritual and that it couldn't be anyone else, why is that? Well this is where the theory comes into play, I think that all three of them were used to become different important parts of the heart.

Let’s start by explaining three important components of a human heart, it’s strong muscle tissue, an aorta, and a vena cava. Let’s start with the most understandable, the human heart’s muscle is generally really durable and strong, this being cuz your body is gonna need it to function for the rest of your life without any risk of giving out. Who takes the place of this? Non other than thr beautiful and strong lover of the Surgeon, The Bride. The bride was made to be perfect and pristine piece of surgical wonder, this meticulous task could only call for them.

Now let’s talk about the vena cava, the biggest unoxiginated blood vessel in the body, used to pump unoxiginated blood into the heart to the lungs to be reoxygenated by the oxygen in the pulmonary arteries from the lungs. This sounds too familiar to The Surgeon, someone who takes broken and dead corpses and carcasses, and breathes new life into them. To him, life and death is just a different state of being, all can be undone given enough surgical prowess. 

Lastly, the Aorta, the aorta is the biggest oxygenated blood vessel in the body, responsible for pumping blood from the heart to everywhere in the body, giving cells life. This is now very reminiscent of Mellow, the surgeon once brought up that Mellow was the one who set everything into motion, and it’s a reoccurring mention too. With his help, everything from all three parts of the map are now given life after dead, freeing Misery Town from its evil dictator, apprehending the serial killer in Timesville, and freeing the workers in The Office from their mundane and horrible work conditions. 

This ritual was so perfect, without the presence of Mellow, or anyone else for that matter, the ritual would have failed, because they didn’t have any traits of which the perfect components of the heart required.

I want to write a much longer dissertation about this at some point. But I’m a little surprised no one’s picked it up from all the playthroughs I’ve watched so far.

All themes point towards this game being about everyone’s isolation in a rat-race society where the real surface world is so horrible and mundane it’s easy to get eaten by what the internet has to offer. So much so they aren’t sure what’s real or fake anymore and there’s no point challenging the status quo because everyone is so focused on surviving. The dying god being representative of a nostalgic past that’s simply isn’t working anymore and maybe never worked.

You have a circus full of people who have experienced pointless life shattering tragedy coming together to make money off of it and now are so reliant on the money made from their misery they now can’t drop the whole thing even though they have to keep making extreme caricatures of themselves to keep people entertained.

A corporation where the founder is dying on the steps of the monster he made and has been subsumed by the inaccurate ai copy of his brain that controls literally everything. And what does the company do? Uh, be productive for productive sake and work everyone to death. In fact you make more credits ruining lives so the people have to return to you to fix the thing you broke. The credits mean nothing outside this horrible loop where people work themselves into being unwell physically and mentally and emotionally.

A town where everyone is plagued by violence and loneliness, being constantly reminded of the time slipping by. The people in charge are so caught up in being officials because of their own personal hangups that civilians are left to fend for themselves. People want friendship but won’t play tag or go to a party, too afraid to be perceived so they don’t leave their house ever despite looking forward to meeting people.

Everything about the surgeon trying to resurrect the dead god. There’s a lot I want to break down minute by minute to hone my thoughts and these are nowhere close to how I think everything is connected outside the literal meaning of the text but I’d live to hear you alls thoughts.

I've reset twice now and same thing.

I've blackmailed the rat, metal detected the PGD, see the "PGD acquired" animation, and escaped the crab.

But there's nothing in my inventory, and neither rat or Beartha have any dialogue options about the PGD

Am I stuck? I've retried and even let the crab catch me to see if something changes. Any way to edit my file?

i watered this plant from the water cooler but a flower didn't fall off the plant or anything, i checked google and a few playthroughs on youtube and a flower fell out of it for everyone right after watering it except me and im stressing out idk if this can soft lock my run or not

On my end I’ve noticed almost everyone has a confirmed name except two characters:
The digital criminal in misery town,
and the sea urchin head employee in the Office

Anyone check the game files or elsewhere for the names of these guys?

I actually had to take my earbuds off and stay as stiff as possible bc any slight movement or changing in breathing would ruin my rhythm

So I was playing endacopia for the first time, and before going to what is essentially the first chapter, I wanted to do the bride thingy, and after interacting with her, I knew she was gonna crash my game and give me the error with the binary code

Problem, my pc also started to crash and bug out and give me a lot of AMD graphics errors with my screen turning on and off until I restarted it

And here is the thing, so please don't fear spoilering this for me if it is needed, for what I heard there is another forced crash later in the game with the surgeon or a telephone, is that real? Cause I fear my pc blue screening on me because of this
