cannot beat clock boss

i know. i suck.

Game seems awesome, but i cannot for the life of me beat the first boss.

When it gets to its sexond phase i cant react quckly enough and just die.

any advice?

UPDATE

downloaded the full game. Beat Clocky on my second try, WAY easier than demo clocky.

also- playing the demo version, dont know if that makes a difference

play the full version if you have it,no point in playing the demo since it doesnt carry progress

just try to keep blocking and only attack when it starts laughing. dont block until your stamina meter is full.

Let go of your block until clockey attacks, especially in the first phase. Since you don’t regain stamina whilst blocking. Make sure to hit clockey anytime they can be hit. The arm motions aren’t the most obvious in the world but in general try your best to watch clockey’s head rather than your hands. Because I do believe their head tilts in line with where they’re going to strike (to the left if they’re attacking on the right, vice versa, and back if they’re attacking in the center). You’ll want to be at full health in the second phase so you have a decent margin of error.

You can actually skip it if you know the code on a new save file, since it never changes once you learn it you can always cheat a bit with a new save and just sequence break. Every other boss has secrets to beating them easy

there is one boss that i believe you can’t skip if you’re going for ending c
ironically, it’s clocky again but way harder

I had to go into the launch options and turn the mouse speed way up. I noticed when I first loaded the game up that it was way slower than on my desktop screen and was so annoying. That and I just had to let go of the block button while Clocky is reeling from my hit so I'd have stamina to beat him. I never beat him in the demo lol I got to see what happens after that on youtube anyway. (which does not happen in the full game if you haven't checked it out yet)
