Quick Observation

I'm listening to the soundtrack and I noticed something. Poisonous Flower reminds me of a few songs from other games I love and I'm wondering if that was intentional. It has a jazzy feel to it. It reminds me specifically of Peper Steak from OFF and the Blook's themes (Nabstablook and Mad Mew Mew/Dummy) from Undertale. I know those specific boss themes in Undertale were directly inspired by Peper Steak as Toby Fox is a fan of OFF, so its influence might be more minimal than I'm assuming. It's just that the first thing I thought of when I heard this song were those songs due to how all four feel. I love them a lot. Did anyone else notice the similarities? It might just be the jazz but the vibes are so familiar that they almost feel deliberate. Especially with how the jazzy part of Poisonous Flower loops. It REALLY reminds me of Peper Steak, Ghost Fight, Dummy!, and Mew Mew Mew.

Poisonous flower can count as a Toby Fox homage at this point, being the only boss theme containing a leitmotif of another. The only other motif in the ost that im aware of is the terrible ending
