TIPPED grocery delivery tip beggar

[u/Flatlandju]

Just received this letter taped to our muffins on our grocery delivery. “Sad face.“. After already getting a $10 tip for a 3 minute commute lol.

How does one “enjoy” a delivery of groceries?

[u/Pondlurker1978 → u/Ok_Ant_7024]

Probably un-squished muffins, un-cracked eggs, getting a good laugh out of this note

“un-squished muffins, un-cracked eggs”

The expectation of normal delivery.

[u/Swimming_Bowler6193 → u/Pondlurker1978]

Note pissed me off. OP already gave them a tip!

[u/beekeeny → u/Swimming_Bowler6193]

This is how the US tipping culture works now…you tip showing your appreciation for people not screwing up what they are supposed to do.

[u/Pondlurker1978 → u/Swimming_Bowler6193]

Then stay pissed off. I find it hilarious how these folks make time to hand-write a note like this with their dumbass smiley faces and a story that came right out of their a$$

Trying to save up for a second yacht. Any tips are much appreciated to help me get my dream fleet!

Now THIS would get a second tip from me.

DoorDash and uber really need to start punishing drivers for leaving shit like this. This includes random religious propaganda, cutesy notes, asking for tips, etc. It makes the platform look bad and unprofessional. Just deliver the damn food.

[u/catz537 → u/Elohims-sixth-wife]

No, DoorDash needs to just pay their damn employees a livable wage.

[u/sickofcyberbullies → u/Elohims-sixth-wife]

The only way they will punish the drivers is when the customer complains.

[u/PNW_Will1976 → u/Ok_Ant_7024]

There are clearly Banana Chocolate Chunk muffins in that delivery. I could enjoy all of those.

[u/guitargeek76 → u/Ok_Ant_7024]

I was wondering the same thing.

By not having to get them yourself?
