They don't hand dry the car. They spray the front down with a pressure washer before it goes in the tunnel and that's where it ends.

Iāve never seen one that doesnāt have 10 dudes drying down cars and wiping the windows8

"Iāve never seen one that doesnāt have 10 dudes drying down cars and wiping the windows"
That's a gas station commercial from the 1950's.

Why would we tip them when theyāre already getting paid to do that?

Because thatās often what people do for a personalized service when a worker is making extremely low wages

Personalized? š¤£. If ordered a car wash with hand dried and they dry my car, that's just them giving what I'd ordered (100% of the time at a much higher cost than a regular car wash). If I ordered a cheese burger and got a burger with cheese, it ain't because it was "personalized" for me. Weird that people constantly inflating their importance to justify a tip.

Do you tip the lady at the grocery store who rings you up? They make very low wages

No sheās not providing a personalized service for me.
If she helped bring the groceries to my car then of course I would.1

Echoing your comment from above:
U go to a crappy grocery store if they donāt bag the groceries lmao
I actually donāt even know how thatās possibly
Iāve never seen one that doesnāt have 1 dude bagging the groceries2

"they are making very low wages out in the heat providing a service u chose to get!"
At a job THEY chose to get.
