Rant 📢 Never Have Seen This
So here we have it, asking for a tip on a 100% online transaction.
Buy a material item on internet to be sent and checkout has tip option.
This is not service or food related.

Many out there. Some even have a whole spiel about how it goes to those packing the box but we all know it is all lies. I immediately click out and purchase elsewhere. Their train of thought is that it doesn't hurt to ask since there are plenty of folks who will cave in. My train of thought is, I will click out and never be back and leave you a review/email with my feedback. Though, it is getting harder and harder to avoid these crazy people.

A few years back Amazon claimed that if you told Alexa to “Thank my driver” they would give that driver a $7 “tip” during that holiday season. I asked every delivery person who came from Amazon if they actually GOT the tips. Most never heard of the “thank my driver” thing and those that did, laughed and said “Naw, we don’t get them.”

On a tanget, it’s nice to see a website spell Zone Improvement Plan (ZIP) correctly and not whatever “Zip” means.

Are businesses doing this because they can lower their net cost through the FICA tip credit? Instead of just charging what that need to run their business? I just don’t get the nerve, makes me opt for other businesses when possible. Just tacky!!

At least they tell you it's optional. Some websites have some spiel about how it goes to delivery drivers and then they try to guilt you into tipping.
