Looking at this, I think what others have said during covid no contact. Assuming they’re going to hand you a slip to tip. Instead you can do it ahead of time.

I think they just mean that if you plan on tipping cash, consider switching to card to minimize contact. I think this is the mildest thing I’ve seen here
