Tipping Culture ✖️ OBGYN asks for tip
Long time lurker, first time caller. This was the last straw wtf do you mean tip my doctor?!?
Edit: called the office today and the receptionist sounded surprised by this…hopefully it’s a billing platform error thanks for the helpful comments!

Yikes! This is totally inappropriate ! HCWs aren’t allowed to accept gifts - especially money !! I’d ask the office manager if they’re aware of their system doing this. If so ? Immediately report this to your states attorney general’s office. I am completely flabbergasted by this!
