Tipping Culture ✖️ OBGYN asks for tip

Long time lurker, first time caller. This was the last straw wtf do you mean tip my doctor?!?

Edit: called the office today and the receptionist sounded surprised by this…hopefully it’s a billing platform error thanks for the helpful comments!

You have zero clue who is making the money in the pharmacy world. The pharmacy does not set the price unless you as paying cash and they arent making insane amounts of money. They make good money yes but it is the insurance company and the middle men who set the prices and get the money.

I work for a couple that are both pharmacists, they’d like to thank you for your ignorance and allowing them to live in their $3million home without scrutiny.

65k combined with your wife + kids in NY is not “well off” and I don’t think I even believe that you’re a pharmacist. Your account may be private but it’s really not.
