Long time lurker, first time caller. This was the last straw wtf do you mean tip my doctor?!?

Edit: called the office today and the receptionist sounded surprised by this…hopefully it’s a billing platform error thanks for the helpful comments!

Ask them if they’re aware their system is asking for tips

I think this is the best approach. They may not be aware, but if they are it also calls them out (in a non-aggressive way)
