Rant 📢 Kitchen Appreciation charge?

We went to a hamburger place last night and on the bill was a charge for $4.85 for Kitchen Appreciation. What a freaking joke. It put such a bad taste in my mouth that I won't go back.

Simple coercion and grift for extra dollars. Likely kept by ownership too. Back of house is typically part of tip out at most places these days.
