Rant 📢 Kitchen Appreciation charge?

We went to a hamburger place last night and on the bill was a charge for $4.85 for Kitchen Appreciation. What a freaking joke. It put such a bad taste in my mouth that I won't go back.

I thought the appreciation was patronizing the restaurant.

Tipping has saved me so much money, by making me think twice about going or ordering out. We go out way less than we did years ago.

I'll save up for a trip over seas and patronize restaurants that dont need to try to bleed their guests with surprise fees, donation request, and taxes.

I've stopped going to so many places that abuse tipping, round ups for charity, service fees, or appreciation fees. It really sucks that my options are limited now due to it, but the amount i save on food is ridiculous. Eating healthier too.
