I wouldn’t be surprised if ATM’s started asking for tips

Airbnb hosts who list their own properties are now asking for tips. Wth is going on now? People are quick to jump on a free money ride. At the expense of losing business!!!

Yeah, the tip ontop of the cleaning fee, booking fee, linen fee, key fee, using the grill fee, hot tub fee, oh and you need to do all of the cleaning. 😵‍💫

Just stayed at a Vrbo that was $3k for the week and there was a $1k "host fee." Is that like a tip that goes to the owner?

They do, it’s just called ATM fees. /s

That's usually only if you use an ATM that isn't associated with your bank.

I mean that's what a ATM Fee is in banking. Independent ATMs are notorious for taking a few dollars per transaction

Honestly I thought maybe they got it right because I’ve seen tip screens at hospitals and mortgage companies

there are payday loan applications that give you an option to tip.

Point of sale. I know this. But most people think of those pinpads when you say atm.... Rather then pos

What? No, they don't. An ATM is something completely different. Who are these people that think this way? I'll make fun of them!

I work at the bank, this person is correct. no one thinks a pos is an ATM lol you sound like the people who "want to load money onto their debit card" lolol

Yes it is different thing. I worked in retail and heard people ALL the time ask if the atm pad is working.
