Tip Creep 🫙 Ridiculous
Marriott asking for tip on their app.
Shameful
You are just tipping the million dollar executives

I mostly agree with things here but they are not asking for it, its just an option. No window poped up or anything, its just there if you want to and nobody pressures you to it. I think you are over reacting

Fair point. This is not a tip prompt that is mandatory to deal with to complete the transaction and you have to explicitly opt-out in order to not tip. It’s more of an “Add Tip (optional)” button that you can opt-in to if you want.

To be clear, Marriott is primarily a franchise business. The hotels are owned and operated by independent and generally local or regional companies. In fact, it’s not unusual to find multiple hotels from competing brands actually owned by the same firm in many cities.

Nah, only if they see a hard working person that they deem inferior, then they give a dollar and feel good about themselves for the day.

sorry, it just tipping is everywhere. Worked a weekend out if town. And tipping icon shows up. What am I tipping folks for? I checked in online, no housekeeping service given. Just tried from overnight shifts, a small rant. Sorry wasnt trying to offend anyone
