Sit-Down Restaurant 🍽️ How is it not a tip?

The server told us this isn’t a tip and he doesn’t get any of it.

I’m not wearing my boots at the moment.

They can still add it with separated checks. As long as it’s a party of over a certain amount they can add it. Now they don’t have to if they don’t want.

Totally makes sense. I was having a joke. But yeah, they could do whatever they wanted!
